The Metro Theatre was livening up in Sydney’s CBD on Saturday the 21st of July. People were crowding the bar eagerly anticipating the arrival of the talented fellow twins known as Cosmo’s Midnight.

The support act Mookhi opened the show with her intriguing dance music. Everybody was hooked on her when she whipped out her trumpet and everyone was vibing off the jazzy instrumental elements that she brought to the stage. After Mookhi’s set was over, Genesis Owusu certainly warmed up the crowd with their energetic hip-hop set that had everyone jumping on their feet.

Cosmo’s Midnight opened with a crowd favourite ‘Confidence’ from their debut album What Comes Next. Immediately, the audience was transported- eyes full of stars from the starry backdrop and the bliss high frequencies made everyone feel as though they’d teleported to space. Right from the get go, these two Aussie twin brothers rocked the small theatre with their unique ambient electronica sound and had everyone on their feet busting out moves.

Up next was ’Get To Know’- another one of their top songs originally performed with Winston Surfshirt. However, with the many different vocal features in their songs, unfortunately it wasn't possible to get them all along. Nonetheless they had the amazing special guest vocalist Asta join them for their top hits, such as ‘Walk with me’, ‘Get to Know’, ‘History’ and ‘Talk to me’. Asta had everyone singing along and her stylish outfit had everyone stunned.

This was followed by a cover of Tyler The Creator’s track ‘911. ‘Mookhi’ and Genesis Owusu joined Cosmo’s Midnight and Asta for this pumping hit. Genesis Owusu helped get everyone hyped and made sure the mosh was nice and sweaty whilst  Mookhi added some of her unique flare with her trumpet and this had the audience absolutely fascinated with the talent they were witnessing.

After playing a few more of their much loved hits the twins captivated the crowd with their awkwardness as they humbly thanked everyone for supporting them. Their genuine thanks mesmerised the crowd and they roared for more. The duo then went on to perform a cover of Calvin Harris’ hit song ‘Slide’. The bass was pumping through everyone’s body and every inch of the room was grooving along to this killer song. This loud cover was full of energy and the talent that Cosmoand Patrick Liney brought to the stage was phenomenal.
