'Being Alive' is the latest offering from the upcoming Frankie Cosmos album Vessel, out Friday March 30 on Sub Pop Records via Inertia Music. This 18-track opus finds front-woman and bandleader Greta Kline's distinctive voice and songwriting quirks enriched by the musical sensibilities of her bandmates- bassist/vocalist David Maine, keyboardist/vocalist Lauren Martin and drummer Luke Pyenson, who all played a detrimental role in shaping the sound of the record. Vessel is only another addition to the almost inconceivable number of songs Greta Kline has released since 2011. Born into the generation who has embraced the accessibility of the bedroom record, Vessel marks her 52nd release. Vessel marks her growth as a writer and a performer, moving on from the bedroom sound to create more complex music on a bigger scale to much larger audiences.
