"Anyway", the stunning the new album from Melbourne's Immigrant Union achieved Album of the Week status here at Rabbit Radio. Now the band have announced a national tour in support of the record through August and September.

The psych-folk five-piece have collected more than enough praise from their second record to last them a lifetime. The "Anyway" tour will take the band to cities and regional centres, stopping at Adelaide, Warrnambool, Canberra, Newcastle, Sydney, Maitland, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Maroochydore, Melbourne and Hobart.
In conjunction with the huge national tour, Immigrant Union are pleased to announce their new single from "Anyway" titled, 'War is Peace'. Australian video director, Dale Bartlett, came up with the idea after hearing the song and discussing its lyrical content with Immigrant Union singer, Brent DeBoer. The result is DeBoer playing the character of John D. Ranger who keeps the business of selling deadly weapons and instruments of covert assassination light and entertaining for the customers who to believe that what they are doing is okay because 'killing is simplified'.
