At just 19 years old, Lucalion (aka Sam Bradley) has been making WAVES within the pop industry with his lush, mood-lifting production, reminiscent of Paces or Porter Robinson, the newcomer definitely has not let us down with latest single 'Let You Go'.
Lucalion's last single, 'In Ur Arms' was met with high praise from listeners and music reviewers alike, with Happy Mag saying "The track is a dead set banger. No two ways about it. With its carefully considered melodies and anthemic choruses, we can picture 'In Ur Arms' being dropped on the main stage of the country's biggest festivals." and we definitely feel the same about the new track.
Bradley's unique take on traditonal house music has an appeal that will stick with listeners long after the first spin. With the stripped back tempo of 'Let You Go' the production changed, allowing Bradley allowing the emotional component of his craft take charge while still maintaining his beloved high-energy, danceable production style. Bradley morphs slow, simple melody lines with plainly written yet intensely effective lyrics and the some of the most infectious melodies and memorable drops heard in a track throughout the entirety of 2018. With lines like "the masterpiece that we envisioned, disappeared in smoke and mirrors", Bradley tears our hearts in two with his recollection of a love coming to an end, brought back to light with his incredible talent to craft a drop- gives us a slice of hope that things will get better, with an ultimately sad song feeling oh so good. Providing the same effect as Chelsea Cutler's 'Your Shirt' or Lennon Stella's 'Bad', Lucalion has successfully provided yet another Pop masterpiece to both cry and dance to.
