Opus of a Machine Release New Single and Video for 'Strength in Stone' Before Heading on National Tour with Caligula's Horse
Brisbane prog rock maestros Opus of a Machine have just released a brand new track with aestheticallly pleasing accompanying video 'Strength in Stone; from their upcoming album Stray Fire, which is set to be released on the 3rd of August. This new release correlates perfectly with their tour supporting fellow QLD progressive masterminds, Caligula's Horse beginning on the album's release date at the Oxford Art Factory in Sydney and ending on August 16th at Melbourne's Howler.
"Strength in Stone encapsulates the entire mood of the album for me." Says Zac Greensill, bass guitarist for the band, "It's a very personal story for the band, but one that I believe we share collectively. We're incredibly proud of this clip and we hope that everyone out there feels something in the song and video that resonates with them as much as it does for us"
Opus have also signed with progressive specialist booking agents Wild Thing Presents, joining an impressive roster of artists including Caligula's Horse, Circles, Orsome Welles, Alithia, Dyssidia and many more. On the signing, the band said; "Wild Thing Presents has continuously progressed the Australian rock scene for many years and to be part of that amazing network of people now is exciting and humbling. We look forward to continuing this great relationship with the entire Wild Thing Presents family!"
