SAFIA Keep Their Wheels Rolling

SAFIA's new track is a mighty punch to the guts, and it feels strangely amazing. The Trio from Canberra have this unreal ability to incorporate so much power in their sound that makes it impossible for their tracks to just be 'background noise at your Australia day BBQ'. Over You is the type of tune that's going to encapsulate an audience immediately, with its mighty kick and crunchy snares, not to mention the unique vocals of Ben Woolner that help construct the sound. The tune is only the beginning of a whirlwind of sound that we're going to hear from their soon to be released DEBUT ALBUM 'Internal', thats set to hit the shelves on the 9th of September. Put it in your calendar because I can't imagine this is something we're going to want to miss.
Internal was written and self-produced by the band in Canberra and London, before being mixed by Eric J Dubowsky, who has mixed the most recent albums for Flume, Flight Facilities, and Chet Faker.

SAFIA have supported Lorde and Disclosure, and played coveted slots at Groovin the Moo, Field Day, Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, The Great Escape (UK), Primavera Festival (SPAIN), and SXSW.
Internal track listing:
  1. Zion
  2. Embracing Me
  3. Together Locked Safely
  4. Fake It Til The Sunrise
  5. Over You
  6. Bye Bye
  7. Close To You
