SANDALPHON Festival - too good to be true?

Imagine a festival... that takes the best from every diverse corner of the music scene, and incorporates it one way or another into a three day party that caters for the needs and wants for almost every kind of person. Im talking your favourite alternative/indie artists, to the best electronic tunes that you love to get down and dirty too, some arm-swingin, knee-slappin country music, and some bump-and-grind R&B.
Although we don't want to get our hopes up for this brand new festival when the line-up hasn't even been released... I'm sure everyone could agree, it sounds darn promising.

Sandalphon Festival is said to have 7 very un-ordinary stages. 'The Lake' stage isn't a misleading name, actually being built on a lake and accompanied by a necessary amount of inflatable pool toys to chill out on. Or at least attempt to. 'The Treehouse' stage is a secret stage, hidden from all maps and featuring Rhythm and Blues music. 'The Campground' stage, is for the nocturnal creatures that thrive best at 3am whilst everyone else is partied out, and well-and-truly asleep. The stage is said to play a diverse range of artists.

But the music isn't even half of it.

The festival, on the Queens Birthday from October 1-3, is going to have bathrooms with FREE makeup, hair bands, bobby pins, hair straighteners, hair brushes, perfume and body sprays. All the boys are going to look absolutely stunning. What I think is probably the most important part of the festival, the food, is also very well taken care of.  Three full sit-down restaurants, a general store, a farmer’s market, takeaway options and a selection of private food vendors. Might I add that there's a $1000 competition for the best costume? Or that theres a theme park, free yoga, and a night time 'Netflix and Chill' movie area.

I don't know about you guys, but we're pretty excited for whats to come with Australian music, and Sandalphon is seeming to prove that anything is possible. Can't wait to hear the line-up!
