Following a year of honing their craft and their East Coast Australian tour, The Jim Mitchells are excited to reveal their highly anticipated debut LP, 'Love Hypnotic' to coincide their upcoming national tour. Released via Sydney DIY label, Third Eye Stimuli Records on February 12th, 'Love Hypnotic' encapsulates the softer, melodic realm of the band's creative force, Jim Mitchell.

While still holding true to their hook-laden-garage ethos, 'Love Hypnotic' illustrates a mature progression for the band in both the songwriting depth and overall mastery of production. Recorded and mixed at their home studio in Sydney, the 8-track album enlisted Engineer Richard Snowden and garage-lord Owen Penglis (Straight Arrows) on mastering duties.

The Sydney-based group. featuring West-Australian born Jim Mitchell, Richard Snowden, Joshua White (The Dandelion), Dominic Barratt and Louis Leimbach (Lime Cordiale), have supported many big names such as Dope Lemon, ORB and The Dandelion as well as performed at Freedom Festival, Sydney Psych Fest and Visions Festival.

Since the band's formation in early 2016 and the release of their EP 'Planet Absorbed' later that year, the Jim Mitchells have quickly developed a loyal East Coast following. In support of their latest release 'Love Hypnotic', the band are currently heading out on their biggest national tour-to-date throughout February and March, including an appearance at the coveted Mountain Sounds Festival on the Central Coast.
