FORD – FOLDING HILLS ft XAVIER DUNN (Independent)

18-year-old self-taught producer and multi-instrumentalist FØRD from Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia, is about to start really turning heads. Combining walls of luscious synthesizers, punchy hip-hop beats, and house-inspired vocal hooks, FØRD demonstrates an exceptional musical aptitude, bouncing between Future Bass, Moombahton, Pop and Hip Hop. The young musician cites influences ranging from Metallica to Chopin, and even though this is only his second original release, he's already developed a distinctive sound all his own.

SHADY BLISS – DIRTY BRAIN (Bedlam Records)

Brisbane four-piece Shady Bliss return to the scene this week with a brand new single. Titled Dirty Brain, this marks the first release for the band since the stellar instrumental journey that is their last single, Deluge in August last year, but now they’re back - and they’re back with a vengeance.
UNKNOWN MORTAL ORCHESTRA – FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS (Jagjaguwar Records)

"I think “First World Problem” is about modern love in a crumbling empire," explains Ruban Nielson. "The feeling that you're trying to build your life and get what you need while a decadent world falls apart around you."
Unknown Mortal Orchestra have officially premiered their new track, "First World Problem". The song was recorded in March while the band was on break from touring and is the first new original song to be shared by Unknown Mortal Orchestra since the release of the critically acclaimed ‘Multi-Love’ album out now on Jagjaguwar via Inertia Music.
