New music for you ears! We have the latest tracks from Yes Sir No Ceur, The RUIINS, RY X & More
YES SIR NO CEUR - LUNA (GD FRNDS)

The new track 'Luna' sees Yes Sir Noceur cleaning up the vocal exposure, although staying true to their lyrical content remaining just as outwardly focussed on embracing all that is after dark. This track has a blend of psychic blues and rock hypnotism, 'Luna' pounds and transforms along to the beat of its own highly infectious groove. Yes Sir Noceur have now created their most sonically stimulating song to date. The track was recorded in the house that former Powderfinger guitarist Ian Haug built - Air Lock Studios in Brisbane - meaning the track has been handled by some of the industry's finest hands.

JACK GARRAT - WORRY (Universal Music Australia)

Musicians like Jack Garratt are a rare commodity and the British artist-producer could not have wished for a better introduction. The newcomer started 2015 as highly touted as he ended it, he is set to sky rocket with the release Phase, self-written, self-performed, self-recorded and largely self-produced debut album.

Garratt explains how he worked with Danish producer Carassius Gold on the track. "We went into the studio to just do something. I was going through real writer's block at the time, I didn't know what sound I was trying to make because I used to do a lot of acoustic music and I didn't know whether I still wanted to do that. Or whether I thought it was a bit shit and whether the stuff I was writing was any good. I was having a real self-critical moment." The result was “Worry” – a track that changed Garratt’s music and started this incredible journey.

FAIT – CHASING YOUTH (Inertia Music)

Perth post-rock genius Fait delves into the nostalgic, fuzzy, and sentimental concept of youth with her aural playground of a new track, “Chasing Youth”.  Completely instrumental this track will have you reaching for the starts as it fills your body with enthusiasm.

RY X – ONLY (Liberator Music/ Infectious Music)

Benchmarking his return is his new offering entitled ‘Only’ - a seamless extension of its predecessor, which once again showcases RY’s boundless ability to create thought-provoking atmospheric pop music, engulfed with his distinctively ethereal vocal lines.

‘Only’ is the lead single to be taken from RY’s eagerly anticipated debut album, Dawn released 6th May via esteemed UK label, Infectious Music. A conscientious and unfeigned debut, RY discloses how the 12-track LP came to fruition via a candid process of self-discovery and trust - “I have followed my heart and it has been a beautiful process of building trust with myself, as an artist, and person.”

THE RUIINS – Eventually (Independent)

Gold Coast based duo The Ruiins are excited to announce the upcoming release of their debut single ‘Eventually’, set to become available Friday March 11. Since their beginnings in 2015, The Ruiins have developed a sound mixed between raw blues and vintage acoustic rock, earning them support places with names such as Tijuana Cartel’s Black Rabbit George, Wild Honey, and Crooked Colours.

Working with the expertise of producer Sean Cook (Big Scary’s ‘Vacation’) The Ruiins have developed an upbeat introduction for the potential the two-piece hold. Touring up and down the eastern coastline,The Ruiins have managed to grace crowds with their unique sound while gathering a humble following.
