OCEAN ALLEY - 'OVERGROWN' (Independent)

ALT J - '3WW' (Liberator Music/Infectious)

alt-J give you a taste of their third album RELAXER in the form of its opening track ‘3WW’, which is available now. RELAXER is the follow up to alt-J’s UK #1, Grammy and Brit-Award nominated album This Is All Yours. RELAXER was recorded all over London – from Shoreditch to St John’s Wood, Crouch Hill to Brixton – with producer Charlie Andrew for a third time.

alt-J – Joe Newman, Gus Unger-Hamilton and Thom Green – are one of the most successful British bands of the millennium. RELAXER follows This Is All Yours, and Mercury Prize and Ivor Novello Award-winning debut An Awesome Wave. Between them, the two records have sold in excess of two million copies and their songs have been streamed more than one billion times on Spotify. The band have headlined festivals across the globe and sold out London’s O2 arena and New York’s legendary Madison Square Garden on their last tour.

FROTH - 'SENSITIVE GIRL' (Wichita Recordings)

Formed in Los Angeles in 2013, Froth first garnered attention with their debut LP Patterns. Originally intended as a small-run cassette release, the album quickly became an underground sensation in the Southern California scene, catapulting the band to local fame and prompting a vinyl re-release in 2014. The following year saw the arrival of Bleak, a more dynamic, adventurous effort that matched lush shoegaze soundscapes with driving krautrock beats, and earned the band press attention from outlets including NPR Music, Noisey, Vogue.com, and Stereogum, among others. Froth toured extensively across the U.S. and Europe in support of the album, opening for acts such as The Drums, Pond, Tamaryn and Craft Spells.

The Thomas Dolas-produced Outside (Briefly) is the sound of a band that’s truly found their voice, and in many ways feels like Froth’s proper debut. Across the ten songs, the band dialled back the noise and psych-pop found on their previous LPs to reveal delicately beautiful melodies, intricately arranged instrumentals, and some of their most experimental songwriting to date.

WHARVES - 'MAN YOU WANT ME TO BE' (Independent)

Lennox Head-based indie-rock quartet, WHARVES, have just revealed an East Coast tour and their brand new single titled ‘Man You Want Me To Be’ – recorded and produced by Steven Schram (San Cisco, Tiny Little Houses) at Studio Circuit, Gold Coast QLD. The hauntingly enchanting new cut ‘Man You Want Me To Be’ is reminiscent to some of the group’s staple influences Foals, The Strokes and City Calm Down, featuring driving disco-esque beats, thumping fuzz-laden bass and classic Brit-pop guitar tones, all capped off by the brooding and infectious vocal melodies of front man, Matthew Collins.

CAMERON AVERY - 'DANCE WITH ME' (Anti/Spinning Top Records)

After unveiling the bold and cinematic visual offering for ‘Wasted On Fidelity’ last month, today Perth-bred/NY-based artist Cameron Avery reveals 'Dance With Me.' The track marks the third single from his upcoming debut solo album Ripe Dreams, Pipe Dreams, out March 10th via ANTI and Spinning Top Records. Recently wrapping his Australian ‘Ces’t Toi’ single tour, Cameron is set to appear at SXSW 2017 followed by an extensive album tour of the U.S, U.K and Europe this April.

LASTLINGS - URGES (Exist.Recordings)

The duo drop their latest single ‘Urges’ off their forthcoming EP, ‘Verses’, set for release 17 March via Exist. Recordings, the label brainchild of Danny Harley aka The Kite String Tangle. The sophomore EP marks the duo’s first release with the innovative label and will see them embark on a headline East Coast tour this March.

Lastlings burst onto the scene in late 2015 with their stellar debut ‘Unreality’ EP, which has been streamed over 2 million times worldwide. With a unique brand of melancholic electronic pop that comes together to create a sound that is entirely their own, it is no surprise that the pair earned esteemed spots on Australian major music festival lineups including Beyond The Valley, Pitch Festival, FOMO and won the triple j Unearthed competition to perform at Falls Music & Arts festival

OKBADLANDS - 'PTY LTD' (Independent)

Brisbane duo OKBADLANDS give you another taste of their captivating and unique electro-pop with new track “PTY LTD”, a track which has already racked up a handful of five star reviews on Triple J Unearthed, plays on Home and Hosed and 2017 with Kingsmill, and has now been added to Triple J Spot rotation. The duo are also excited to announce their debut EP, featuring last year’s single “Dust & Gold” and new track “PTY LTD”, which will be released digitally on Friday March 31st.

GOOD BOY - 'BRAAP' (Barely Dressed Records/Remote Control Records)

Good Boy’s 'Braap' is a burst of garage rock energy which recalls the best of Cloud Nothings, Parquet Courts and Australia’s influential Eddy Current Suppression Ring, it's is a rollicking hit out for one of the most exciting punk rock bands in the country. Vital, fun and loud.
